Our Trip to Paris




A busy summer; in my absence a daughter and son-in-law moved to England, a Son joined the Marines and left for Basic Training in San Diego, a daughter got braces and is car shopping and another daughter passed the oklahoma bar and become engaged. Phew! a busy summer, oh...and We went to Paris! lol

The Eagle Has Landed...

I have posted this youtube video of the launch and landing on the moon 40 years ago. I hope everyone enjoys it. If you are too young to remember it, then it is especially dedicated to you. My memory of that day is faint, I was almost 5 years old and I recall hearing the radio announcer talking about it as we were riding in the car. I have no idea where we were going, just that it was hot and cars in those days, for the most part did not have a/c. My family lived in Houston Texas in a little brick house in a typical neighborhood for the 60's. We had a yellow Ford Fairlane.
