Holly Graduates From Law School...










A late post but it's been a busy spring! May 8th Holly is officially a law school graduate. Everyone drove up to Tulsa to celebrate. We met at Kilkenny's Pub on the Friday night before the graduation. Aunt Madeline gave Holly a beautiful Ann Taylor suit for a graduation gift. It fit perfectly and she wore it the next day under her gown. Big maw maw, 93 years old made the trek with Mee Maw and Paw Paw! Uncle Rusty and Aunt Madeline drove from Austin and Granddaddy Murphy and Grandmom came up from Houston. Bud came over from Oklahoma City and had dinner with us Friday at the pub. Aunt Wendy came with Mee Maw and Paw Paw too. Erin took leave from the Airforce so she was able to spend the weekend with us. Dusty came along as well.

The Eagle Has Landed...

I have posted this youtube video of the launch and landing on the moon 40 years ago. I hope everyone enjoys it. If you are too young to remember it, then it is especially dedicated to you. My memory of that day is faint, I was almost 5 years old and I recall hearing the radio announcer talking about it as we were riding in the car. I have no idea where we were going, just that it was hot and cars in those days, for the most part did not have a/c. My family lived in Houston Texas in a little brick house in a typical neighborhood for the 60's. We had a yellow Ford Fairlane.
