My Garden with a light snow...




We haven't had snow in East Texas in a few years. It's been several years since we had enough to cover anything. 3-4 inches of snow fell yesterday. I'm the only Dork in town up at 3:30am taking pictures of the house, shrubbery and garden.

The Eagle Has Landed...

I have posted this youtube video of the launch and landing on the moon 40 years ago. I hope everyone enjoys it. If you are too young to remember it, then it is especially dedicated to you. My memory of that day is faint, I was almost 5 years old and I recall hearing the radio announcer talking about it as we were riding in the car. I have no idea where we were going, just that it was hot and cars in those days, for the most part did not have a/c. My family lived in Houston Texas in a little brick house in a typical neighborhood for the 60's. We had a yellow Ford Fairlane.
